Wordless{ish} Wednesday: Wild Things

{We had a miraculously sunny fall day, so sicky and I ventured out of quarantine to get some fresh air.}

 {Poor kid has a bad virus that includes a scary rash all over her little body. Doctor says it just has to run its course. Sleep is for the weak I tell ya!}

 {This way please.}

 {A girl and her garbage truck obsession.}

  {Our little woods always remind me of Where the Wild Things Are...}

{Only instead of wolf pajamas, my "Max" wears polka-dots and a pink tasseled hat...}

 {And behind every sweet log cave lurks...}

 {A manufactured home.}

 {Let the wild rumpus begin.}

{We are working on enjoying the season to its fullest despite the illness plaguing our house. She has already mastered puddle jumping, next up...}

{Leaf crunching. I'm a professional leaf cruncher.}

Happy Fall!

    It's almost comical how doctors prescribe sleep when you know that's the last thing you'll get.

    The photos are gorgeous.

  18. Oh I LOVE fall! I hold the German country championship of leaf crunching :-). And the garbage truck story reminds me of a little two year old boy who was eagerly waiting for same truck every Monday morning (three years ago, my little son is now 5 years old). Thanks for linking up @ Ein bisschen Haushalt...

    Greetings from Germany

  25. She looks like she appreciated the time outside - even sick! Great pictures. My baby wouldn't sleep most of the day today either - he doesn't seem to recognize that he needs sleep.

  29. Ooh, leaf crunching! I used to get them with my bike! and i'm glad to see another kid with a garbage truck obsession. Baby T usually gets to see the garbage truck come around at my neighborhood and at his Mom-Mom's on Fridays, and the garbage men know him. He's going to be a garbage man on halloween!
